GymGantel for Android

How to install

1. Tap «Download for Android» on your phone and wait for the file to download.
2. Open the downloaded file: the notification shade or Files → Downloads → GymGantel.apk.
3. The phone asks «Allow installs from this source?» → Settings → turn on «Allow from this source» (for Chrome or Files) → back.
4. Install. If Google Play Protect shows a warning - More details → Install anyway. This is the usual message for any app not from Play.
5. Open GymGantel. The icon appears on your home screen.

If it does not install

Samsung: «Unknown app blocked» is Auto Blocker. Settings → Security and privacy → Auto Blocker → off, then install again. You can turn it back on afterwards (turn it off for a minute again to update).

If GymGantel was installed from Google Play before, the phone asks «Update via browser?» and then says «App not installed». First save your records (in the app: Settings → backup to account or file), uninstall the old app and install this one. Sign in or restore from the file to get your records back.

Why not Google Play

For now we publish the Android app ourselves, as a file on this site. It is signed with our key - updates install only over the same signature, so the app cannot be swapped.

Updates

When a new version comes out, the app tells you and opens this page. Download the file and install it over the old one - your records and settings stay.

Paying for PRO

PRO is paid through Paddle, our reseller. Checkout opens in your browser; after paying, go back to the app and PRO turns on by itself. The purchase is tied to your account and works on all your devices.
